Aha Lomilomi Festival 2010

Yesterday Kona was a perfectly gorgeous setting for an outdoor festival!
Hawaiian Body Products partnered up with Kumu Dane Silva and Mariko Sato from Hilo's Hale Lomilomi, and Kamaluhia Wooley from Hale Ho Ola Spa in Volcano at the first annual Big Island Lomi Festival.
The festival was hosted by The Keauhou Beach Resort and presented by Haunani Hopkins of The Hawaii Lomi Association, featuring three days of conferences, presentations and training in the ancient healing art of Lomilomi honoring the late, great Kumu Lomi Auntie Margaret Machado.
The Lomi Conference attendees as well as locals and tourists alike were treated to a day long outdoor celebration in the Keauhou Beach Resort Gardens offers outstanding hula and music presentaions, lomi demonstrations, select vendors and lots of great give aways.
Hawaiian Body Products joined in festivities the spirit of healing by presenting our newly launched and updated Ola Pono Lomi Collection at the festival featuring Kapa style labels and a new invigorating Lemongrass Ginger Scent. Ola Pono is a healing collaboration with Kumu Dane Silva.
The Ola Pono Lomi Collection features six distinct Lomi kits providing an assortment of tools designed to promote the healing power of touch through self care and Ohana (family care). Our kits range from starter kits to Delux Lomi and Delux Foot Care kits and includes a Facial Lomi Kit.
The Ola Pono Lomi Collection offers an assortment of hand carved personal lomi sticks and beach stones for massaging and exfoliating, pure Hawaiian massage oils and lotions, organic herbal spray mist, Hawaiian sea salt soak, coconut wax candles, and an invigorating volcanic foot scrub and mask to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
